CAMERA SYSTEMS WE USE
Sony A6400 Mirrorless
Our preferred camera for video. The a6400 has no recording limit. Which means capturing long videos (120min+) without stopping. This was/is used for almost every class inside the BB Studio Interchangeable lenses. User friendly. Also great for photo.
Fujifilm X-T30 II with XF18-55mm
The X-T20 was my first digital camera purchase. I attribute much of my early success on social media to that camera. This is possibly the most user/ beginner friendly camera on the market.
The X-T20 is no longer in production. The X-T30 is it’s older sibling. For a beginner to photography, I would recommend nothing else!
Insta360 ONE X2 360-Degree 5.7K Action Cam
In my opinion, every content creator should have a mini action camera for shooting 360 footage. I’ve used this in small spaces, mounted it to my body and attached it to cars and motorcycles. You can also attach an invisible selfie stick via the 1/4” for drone style footage.
It comes with an easy to use iPhone app which can create some super cool edits using AI technology. Insta 360 also has a desktop editor, but its a little less glamorous (and you’ll need a good computer to process quickly).

Rode Wireless Go II
The only device we use for capturing high quality audio. These wireless transmitters/ receivers are TINY and feature built-in microphone. Plug into a Camera, smartphone or computer.
Rode 3.5mm TRS to TRRS Cable
If you want to plug your Wireless Go into an iPhone, unfortunately you will need to purchase this adapter.
Note - you should also have a 35.mm / lightning adapter to plug into your phones charge port.
Apple MFi Certified Lightning to 3.5mm Adapter
This product is apple certified. Using cheaper third-party adapters might degrade quality or even cause damage to your iPhone.
Rode Lavalier GO Professional Wearable Mic
We plug this lav mic into the Wireless GO for higher quality audio during yoga classes, lectures and other more professional content.
Pro Tip from Rama - Try hiding it in your beard for invisible high quality audio!
Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 2
Our preferred speaker for travel. This thing is tiny but still packs enough power to fill a big yoga shala with sounds for classes, movie screenings and personal enjoyment.

This is the lighting kit I started producing more professional looking yoga classes with. Easy to use continuous output. Bright enough to light any scene. Inexpensive enough to be accessible.
Aputure Amaran AL-M9 RBG Light
Portable and reliable? The Amaran AL-M9 is my preferred light solution for travel. It’s the size of a small mens wallet and powerful enough to balance backlit content. I’ve used this for many of my IG videos and classes inside BB Studio.
ULANZI RGB Light Wand
Looking to add a little colour to your content? Ulanzi makes excellent products and this light wand was an interesting inclusion to my kit.
It’s another purchase that I didn’t know I needed until I had it. 90-minutes at max power. Definitely worth the small investment.

Anker 20K mAh Battery Pack
There is nothing more annoying than having your devices die on you when you’re trying to create. This is the battery pack I use to charge all my devices while traveling or shooting in nature.
Powerful enough to charge my iPhone 13PRO five times and I’ve even used it to bring my MacBook Pro back to full battery. NOTE - there are some cheaper models, but they are usually limited to USB output.
Neewer 3-Speed Camera Dolly
Your own personal camera man! This remote controlled dolly lets you take incredible pan shots. Works great with any camera system under 3kg.
Being entirely honest, this was an impulse purchase for me but I’m SO glad I invested and will continue using this for years to come.
Joby 3K Tripod
Grip it. Wrap it. Stand it. I have three different sizes of this tripod but could easily get away with just this 3K model. Bendable arms are easy to manipulate but strong enough to hold their shape. This model will work with any camera system under 3kg.
Note - there are cheaper gorillapods on the market, but saving $20 will cost you longevity!
DJI OM5 Gimbal 3-Axis Stabilizer
I almost never leave home without my OM5 smartphone stabilizer. It’s lightweight and small enough to fit into my shoulder bag. Enjoy flawless selfies, super-smooth video, automatic tracking tripod shooting and more.
Pro Tip: leave the magnetic clip attached to your phone to shoot stable selfie-video via metallic surfaces even without the gimbal.
LaCie Mobile Drive 5TB
I have three of these and highly recommend for external storage. One hard drive serves as my backup for every video inside the BB Studio. Another is for post-production edits to keep my computer running fast. Another I bring with me during international travel.
These LaCie Drives work great with Mac and PC computers. USB-C connection. It also comes in smaller 1TB, 2TB and 4TB sizes.
Apple USB-C to USB Adapter
Forgive me for being funny, but adapters are like condoms: it’s better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it.
All new devices these days seem to have USB-C ports. Which means that older tech typically won’t connect without an adapter. This one is Apple approved and is the one I use myself.
Peak Design Camera Clip V3
Something I never knew I needed. Hold your camera in place while providing instant access. They work with every Arca-type tripod I’ve tried.
I use these for hiking, foraging, photoshoots. I have one attached to all my camera bags and fully stand behind this product & company.
CamLink 4K Broadcast
Turn your digital camera into a HQ webcam for better zoom classes. I’m not a fan of live online classes. The quality is usually horrible. With this CamLink however, I am able to create a high quality live experience. Note - there are cheaper products but lack quality. Anything cheaper isn’t worth it!
